Coming in Septebmer 2010:
> Club 756… starting September 7th, this youth group for grades 5, 6, & 7 meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm. A great place for young people to build positive friendships, have fun, and get to know God in a non-threatening environment. Leader: Carol Near.
>Quizzing Club… starting on September 7th, this unique team provides an opportunity to learn God’s Word in a fun way. Competitions based on scripture memorization take place throughout the year with other church youth from across Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Leader: Carol Near.
>AWANA… starting September 8th, this is a club program for children from Kindergarden through Grade 4. Meeting on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm, we offer a full range of Bible learning activities, as well as various games & activities that help develop skills and positive attitutes. Kids are divided into two groups: Sparks (K-Gr.2) and T&T (Gr.3-4) {stands for Truth & Training}. Leader: Diane Kehrer.
> FBS: Family Bible School… starting September 12th, and running at 9:45am weekly on Sunday mornings, offers learning opportunities for successful biblical living for all ages! Come join us!
>Youth Group… starting September 17th, for youth Grades 8-12, running on Friday evenings from 7:30-10:00pm. Get “fed” through Bible teaching and supported through non-judgmental encouragement to face life’s challenges. Of course, fun games and activities help keep their minds & hearts inspired, and their team-working / team-building skills challenged too! Contact: Pastor Ron Baker for more info.
>XYZ… stands for “Xtra Years of Zest”, and our active group of seniors (age 60+) enjoy meeting together one Tuesday per month for a luncheon and special program. The first one this year shall be on September 21st, at 11:45am. For more details, contact Jill Baker.
