HISTORY

church picture 2007Kindersley Alliance Church was began with two men, Alf Orthner and Art Hoenisch, who connected with a small group of Christ followers in 1938.

Originally, services were held in the Presbyterian Church, then in the Orange Hall. The congregation was able to purchase land and build their own facility in 1941. The location was 111 – 3rd Avenue West.

In 1973 the church relocated to 1025 – 1st Avenue West. (This is currently known as the Norman Ritchie Centre). Then in 1990 we constructed a new facility in our present location at 74 West Road, in 1990.

Over the years, we have been favoured by Christ through the ministries of 29 pastors and associates who have served our church and community.

We are honored to support through prayer and through our financial giving a number of our church family who have served or are serving the Lord in various ministerial capacities around the world.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
