Hello Kindersley Alliance Family,
We wanted to touch base before Sunday in order to respond to all that has “blown up” this past week in regard to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
First, we wanted to say we will be meeting together for Sunday Service and encourage you to come and join us in worship and fellowship.
Second, we do want to say that we will be taking this “pandemic” seriously, and will therefore be following the protocol and wisdom that our Health Officials are encouraging of us. That means if you are sick with any of the symptoms of COVID-19 we do ask that you would remain home. These symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. I know that this is hard for Kindersley Alliance in particular to follow as a “hugging church” but we are asking that we refrain for the time being from handshakes and hugs. We also ask that we follow the instructions we’ve been hearing consistently regarding regular handwashing, and we will have hand sanitizer available at strategic locations.
Third, and most importantly, though we will act responsibly and follow the guidelines given to us as a congregation, we will continue to be those who do not walk in fear, but who trust in the peace and sure foundation of Jesus Christ. In the midst of the panic and chaos that surrounds us, let us be those who point people to the peace we have in Jesus Christ.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, as we seek Jesus, the one who is our Peace amidst the storm (Ephesians 2:14)
